Robert Couch, President and CEO
Robert Couch, the inventor of the Patent-Pending Self-Directed Two-Party Partnership, grew up in the oil and gas business as the son of Charles Couch, a Texas wildcatter and founder of Couch Oil & Gas, Inc. After receiving a degree in Preparatory Medicine and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, Robert signed as a rookie free agent with the Atlanta Falcons and then subsequently played with the St. Louis Rams and two seasons in NFL Europe. After retiring from football, Robert received a Microsoft Certification in System Engineering and was employed by Jobs.com as a network administrator. During Robert’s tenure at Jobs.com, he was promoted to the Vice President of Operations where he was a leader in the construction of one of the largest employment sites on the web with more than 3 million unique visitors a month. It was the combination of this technical experience and his lifelong exposure and participation in the family business that he brought with him to Oil2 Holdings. This background gave Robert the vision and experience to support thousands of transactions necessary for the statistical indexing methodology which, prior to Oil2's patent-pending investment technology, was never able to be implemented in the oil and gas industry. Robert's aspiration for Oil2 Holdings is to enable every qualified taxpaying American to own fractional interests in hundreds of high-impact exploratory oil and gas wells, providing material tax benefits and secondary income from an ever increasingly valuable asset. The scalability of this technology can provide the United States with hundreds of billions of dollars annually needed to reduce its dependence on foreign oil, as well as supply the world's continually increasing consumption of hydrocarbons. The profit historically known in the oil and gas industry can now be shared with individual Americans, not just the very wealthy and the big oil companies.
Boris Starokozhev, Chief Exploration Manager
Since starting geology school at the age of 12 and after spending more than forty-five (45) years working in Russia and the U.S. as a geologist, Mr. Starokozhev’s experience, track record, and ability to find oil and/or gas reserves is well established and second to none. His diverse international and hands-on experience also makes him well equipped to manage a broad range of oil and/or gas exploration projects, selecting only those most likely to succeed as financially profitable ventures for Oil2 and its investing partners.
Boris received a B.S. in Drilling Technology from Nebetdag Oil & Gas College (Turkmenistan) in 1961, and he received an M.S. in Geology, Geophysics, and Oil and Gas Exploration from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute (Uzbekistan) in 1966 and continued his studies for an additional four years with a work-study program where he was a member of the Strategic Development Team for New Oil and Gas Discoveries in Uzbekistan. From 1969 to 1980, he served as the Chief of the Exploration Department for the Uzbek Oil & Gas Prospect Generating Company. From 1980 to 1986, he served as President of the Karakalpak Exploration Oil & Gas Company, and from 1986 to 1992 he served as Exploration Manager for the Uzbek Oil Corporation. In 1987, his previous geological studies and findings were recognized by the Soviet Union when he was named “The World-Class Discoverer of Oil & Gas Fields.”
From 1992 to 2002, Mr. Starokozhev worked as an independent geologist on a consulting basis for many oil and gas exploration companies, and from 2002 to 2005, he served as Chief Geologist for Couch Oil & Gas, Inc.
